My Estate Washer is full of water and clothes then quit. It will click when the lid is closed and will try to engage when I move it to the spin cycle. It still wont work. It hums no matter where you put the dial.

Check for loose screws on the lift side lid hinge. This hinge activates the lid switch and it may not be fully engaging if the screws are loose. If that's not the problem, you need to remove the cabinet, unclip the drain pump and pull the drain pump away from the motor shaft (leave hoses attached) and then see if motor will run. There may be something in the pump jamming the motor. You will need to bypass the lid switch in order to run the machine with the cabinet off.
