Turned on oven, fan came on then smelled an electronic burning smell. Clock works, light works, did a visual on the control board, did not see anything burnt.

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FFEW2725LBB Oven - AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a wiring diagram http://manuals.frigidaire.com/p...assomption/318416200.pdfFirst check the power at the unit. The elements require the full 240 volts. Your unit may be hardwired so some of the below may not apply. Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts. If OK Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out If OK Check the power at the terminal strip. Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!! If the power is OK remove power and check the thermostat (thermal cut-off) (item 219 in section 05). It should be 0 ohms. |
