Almost 5 months ago I replaced the oven control board for my 6yo Kenmore Elite double wall oven that was presenting with a "F10" error code. I replaced the Oven Control Board and all was fine until today. I am getting the same F10 message for runaway temperature.
The temperature probe is reading right about 1100 ohms now as it did then. Is my Oven Control Board bad again? Is there something causing it to go? I have only used the self cleaning feature several times since new. Thanks

Okay, it has happened again. The control board lasted 10 months and I got the F10 code again. I ordered a new control board and put it in last week and it failed the first time I used it with a F10 code. So now I need to order my fourth board in the last 4-5 years.
The sensor probe checks out fine at 1092 ohms. I even switched it with the lower oven but no change.
What am I missing? I checked the power cord, voltage. All is fine. No problems with any other appliances, A/C etc...
I guess I will report this to the CPSC as this is a safety hazard.
