OK I have a LSQ9110PW3 whirlpool washer that won't spin in the spin cycle only. It will spin in all other modes but is makes a loud noise at the end of the cycle I believe it the shift, I'm not sure but lids switch is good but there is also the oil ring on the inside of the cabinet. I've read that it needs a grease top seal, drive coupler and clutch is this true? I've read and watched so many videos I can remember which is which and frankly tired of trying to figure this out on my own so if someone could lend a hand that would be extremely awesome.

I am not sure what you mean when you say it won't spin in the spin cycle but will spin in other modes. Do you mean that it will spin at the end of the wash cycle after it drains but not at the end of the rinse cycle?

If this is the case then the timer is suspect, but you may have other problems also. The loud noise at the end may be the brakes which are contaminated by the leaking oil.

If this is the case then the solution would be to replace the timer, replace the missing oil and if it is the top oil seal on the transmission that is the problem then replace it also.
