Help!

My circuit board for this model started smoking the other evening. We suspect it's not fixable. (sob). My question - If we remove the damaged board from the upper oven, would we still be able to use the lower oven until we find a replacement? (this oven has dials for controls).

Yes you should be able to use it.
You have to make sure that any wire yoy remove from the board cannot short to anything else.

Looks like the control board is obsolete.
