Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/8/2014(UTC) Posts: 3		A somewhat recent development..... the food chopper assembly gets clogged with food particles and then water doesn't move right through the jets and dishes don't get clean. I'll clean it and it runs OK for a week or so then gets clogged again. How can i tell if chopper is operating correctly or at all? The chopper itself looks intact. I can't determine if it ever spins. Also what spins the chopper? The pump maybe? Thanks for any insight, Eric

What part is this black spindle? Is it worth replacing on a 12 year old dishwasher? THX> Eric
