I have a Maytag model MMV5186AAB that works fine. The problem is the thin plastic clear cover that protected the oven door from splatters has lost it's seal and came off. How do I get a replacement plastic? If they no longer make it, is there an alternative?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I am not quite sure that I understand you.

If you are referring to the thin plastic that peels off then this was never meant to be left on the unit.
It should have been removed during installation.
It is there to prevent scratches to the glass during installation and shipping.
