On this side by side, the ice maker will not turn off, overfilling the bin. I've been turning it on and off manually with the power switch. It has a typical trip wire on microswitch; the wire swings freely and you can feel the switch click. Any help is appreciated!

I cannot find any info on the given model number. Tried here and Sears. Since it is just numbers I thought it is a Sears unit as they are the only ones that use just numbers. Please check it. Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and an additional 8 digits. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comIce makers can be a pain to repair and often it is better to just replace it, depending on cost. |
