Just guessing on the age of the dryer. Just bought home with appliance already there. Wife washed two loads of new towels filling lint catcher completely full twice. Now dryer tumbles only. Checked switches along the drum holder, igniter, blower with multimeter. All show connectedness. The power to igniter shows nothing positive or negative. Seems like there would be another fuse or overload switch somewhere but I can't seem to locate it with the wiring diagram. Any pointers?

There are no fuses in this dryer. Don't know what you mean by igniter, this is an electric dryer, not gas. Guess your talking about the heat elements? Positive and negative are terms used for DC circuits. This dryer runs on AC only. Reset your AC panel circuit breaker as sometimes one half of the breaker can trip without tripping the whole thing. You say no heat and no blowing? If drum is tumbling then motor is running which means blower wheel should be spinning. If no air out the exhaust, then you have blockage in the ducts or the blower wheel is slipping on motor shaft.

Sorry. Somehow copied the wrong model#. It's definitely gas.

Ignitor is powered by 120vac, not DC voltage. With drum removed, check for 120vac between one wire to ignitor and ground with timer on and temp switch set to heat mode. One wire to ignitor is the hot side and the other is neutral. If you read 120vac to ground on one of the wires, you will then need to turn the dryer motor on and check for 120vac across the two ignitor wires. You will have to either tie down the idler pulley to activate the belt switch or bypass the switch in order for the motor to run or have someone hold the start switch. If you have 120vac to ground on one ignitor wire but not across the two wires with motor running, then the motor is faulty, the control inlet thermostat is open, or the flame detector is faulty. If you are not getting 120vac to igniter at all then I will advise further.
