I have a Kenmore Coldspot 106.56589500 that we have used for a long time. Last week the water stopped dispensing. I pulled out the old filter and left out while I purchased a new one because the water worked without the filter. I bought a new filter and installed it. The fridge made a horrendous noise (I assume while filling the filter with water), then the water worked Only for a minute or 2 and then it stopped again. I pulled out the filter and put it back in multiple times with each time doing the same thing. I removed the filter so we could use the water, (because the water works with No Filter installed), while I purchased a 2nd filter just in case the 1st one was bad. However I got the same results with the 2nd filter. At this point the water will only work when there is NO filter installed.

I am completely stumped as to why the water work Only when there is NO filter installed, and when I install a filter it no longer works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx!
