I have a Maytag washer that is about 4 years old (I think). It makes a terrible clunking noise when it goes into the spin cycle. At first, I thought it was because of too much laundry in the washer. The next load I did was a much lighter load and I still got the clunking noise. Then this morning, I did a load and wasn't paying much attention (and I had the closet door closed) and I didn't hear it and the cycle completed. When I went to put the wash into the dryer, it was still soaking wet. Not dripping wet, but still very wet. I recorded a the noise and posted the video to YouTube (Maytag washer spin problems - YouTube) -- at about 1 minute in you can really hear the noise and it sounds pretty bad.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my washer to do this?

Thanks -
Ryan
