Oven/range was beeping with error F1-7 and I couldn't silence it or turn on oven. Tried unplugging but didn't help - once plugged back in kept beeping with error and couldn't even reset clock - couldn't stand the beeping and couldn't shut it up so unplugged again and started taking it apart. Model JDS58850ACS. I've removed the front panel, have wires exposed.

(If this is relevant, we've had an intermittent problem over past year or so where it beeps and says some problem about 'meat probe' but we have been able to cancel that and everything would still work.)

Disconnected and cleaned connections for front touch panel ribbon, still error message F1-7.

Does this error code mean it's my touch pad for sure that needs replacing, or could it be something else? Is the previous meat probe issue relevant? Any/all help much appreciated!
