I just purchased a motor pulley and belt to replace in my dryer. The information online for replacing the motor pulley is very limited. The only source I found states that I need to hold the front part of the shaft steady while turning the pulley clockwise. I've tried this and my husband has too, but the pulley won't budge. Am I doing something wrong? If not, what can I do to remove this stubborn pulley? PLEASE HELP!!!

The small metal pulley on the motor shaft is not reverse thread. Hold shaft and rotate pulley CCW.
