Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/23/2014(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a maytag model mce8000ayw dryer with the top drying cabinet. The top will heat up but bottom only spins with no heat, ran bottom and it heats under diagnostic mode. This tells me the elements are good. Was wondering if diagnostic mode bypasses the thermistor,thermastats, or high temp. switches etc.
