The nameplates and badges on the new Whirlpool/Maytag etc stainless appliances are very large and prominent. What is the recommended process for removing the badge on a new Maytag stainless dishwasher? I assume the badge is applied with tape or adhesive to a smooth surface? Thanks

You could try warming it up with a hair dryer. Often this will loosen/soften the glue.
I do not recommend this as once the glue gets into the brushed stainless it will leave a mark that is near impossible to get rid of so it will leave a mark. |

Thanks Denman. Good info on the residual marks. Maybe I tolerate oversize advertising instead of a smudge mark on the "monocromatic stainless".
