I have a built in model WDT770PAYM0 Whirlpool dishwasher which is not maintaining hot or even warm water for washing the dishes. It is also not drying the dishes during the drying cycle. Additionally, I'm not sure the correct water fill level for this dishwasher but it seems to be lower than it should be (at least 1 inch below heating element). I have already replaced the heating element, thermostat and water inlet valve but it is still not maintaining water temp or drying the dishes. Please help.

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool WDT770PAYM0 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. Remove power from the unit and check at the control board. P4-4 to P4-3 should be about 20 ohms. If not then it may be a bad wire/connection going down to the heater. If OK then odds are that the control board is toast. Would not hurt to also check the temperature sensor (NTC), see the tech sheet. But usually this only comes into play when heating the eaer and has no effect when drying the dishes. |
