My dryer would not start. I replaced the thermistor and the thermal fuse and the dryer now works. The problem is that it does not cool down as it should, the clothes are very hot. All lint has been removed from the dryer and vent pipe. I still have an F25 code, which is for the thermistor. I have read that the problem could also be the control panel. Any ideas? Is there a way to test the control panel?

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool WED6600WL0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Have you checked the thermistor?

Have you unplugged the unit for a couple minutes to see if it will reset?

Have you tried different heat cycle types?

Try running the diagnostics.
