Gas Dryer Won't Stay Burning, Already Changed Coils

Gas Dryer flame burns for 5-15 seconds, then shuts off. It then cycles back on every 30-60 seconds, and will not stay running hot.
My Maytag Gas Dryer was taking longer to dry, and eventually wouldn't get hot any longer. My wife gave me the heads up so I popped the cover off and could see that the igniter would get bright white, hear the gas valve click, the flame would come on as usual, and after a few seconds of running would go out, and then the click. Then after about 30-60 seconds I would hear the click again, and the process would start all over.
I searched this site, along with others and was 100% sure it was the Gas Dryer Coils. So I bought a pair and installed them, and the same problem happens.
I attempted to test for continuity within the various sensors and such: -Flame Sensor -Hi Limit Thermostat -Igniter -Fuse(Near the blower) -Cut off Thermostat (Near the blower) -I also checked the dryer line and it is clear and blows strong
I tested the original coils again and now they do not want to fire the dryer any longer, but the new ones continue to allow the dryer to turn on and off. I already had a second set of coils on the way since I ordered them online and they were showing late, and I wanted to just get the thing fixed so I went and bought them locally (So I basically have 2 brand new sets of coils). They function the exact same so we can rule out a possible bad set of new coils from the manufacturer since these are 2 OEM sets from different sources both functioning the same. I checked the old coils with an Ohm's meter just to see what type of readings I would get and the small one gave no reading , and does not get warm when in use. The new ones give ohm's readings and get slightly warm as they should.
I am testing it with no clothes inside, and the front off the dryer, would this cause it to cycle like this since its getting more air than usual or should it run with the front off without turning on and off?
What Next? What should I check or do next? Could it be the Flame Sensor is faulty, or the high limit thermostat? Even though they showed continuity?
Seems like everything is functioning as it should, expect that the burner cyles on and off.
Help is much appreciated!

You must run it fully assembled, otherwise the air flow isn't what it should be.

Eric Thanks for the heads up. I thought it may matter but my dryer is older and doesn't have the small spy window to look in. I attempted to hold the front on and crack it open just slightly. Guess I will put it on as it should and fire it up and feel if the heat keeps coming out by holding the door sensor with the door open. If anyone else has any other ideas please share. I will report back after I test it again.

You shouldn't check it with the door open either. Your completely changing the air flow. The blower pulls air through the heat chamber, into the drum, out through the lint filter and then pushes out through exhaust duct. With door open it's just going to pull outside air and air flow through heat chamber will be interrupted. Best to check heating with thermometer at exhaust duct.

Eric You were right. I put the cover on and she ran like a dream! Dried a load nice and quick, my wife is happy. My machine is old so I guess it was before the days of the peek hole. Next time i'll test the air out with a thermometer as you suggested. I now have a spare set of coils in case it ever happens again. Thanks again!
