Freezer and frig not cold enough. Inside light only works for about 5 mins after plugging frig in. LED temp setting lights continue to work. Cooling fan comes on immediately upon plugging in. Compressor sounds like it comes on after about a minute. I read somewhere that a faulty door switch could cause temperature setting issues. Any thoughts? Is the light not working after 5 mins each time I plug it in an indicator? Thanks for your time and suggestions.

Your unit is actually a LG.
I have been doing this for a number of years and have never found a cross reference for Kenmore/Sears units to the actual manufacturer so finding tech info is difficult.
Also Sears does not give out tech data, they send out repair people.
