Our dryer runs for maybe 5-10 minutes and then shuts off. Will restart right away but then shuts off again

It sounds like a timer problem.
Does it do it at the same spot on the timer?
You said it will stop then restart right away and then stop again, what happens if you move the timer to the start of the cycle again?
It it restarts and runs OK then that adds to the evidence that it is a timer problem.

FYI: Usually this type of problem is due to the motor overheating and tripping it's internal thermal protect but in this case it does not sound like this problem.
When the thermal protect trips you have to wait till the motor cools down so that the protect can reset.
But you say that it will restart right away so the timer is a more likely cause.
