I just got this Whirlpool dryer and installed it, had everything hooked up correctly but it produced no heat. The ignitor would glow then I'd hear the click for the gas but no flame. I did some diagnostics and everything in the back of the dryer checked out. Went to the burner assembly and the ignitor had a decent amount of resistance, about 1k, so I figured that may be it. I replaced that and for good measure the coils. I checked the flame sensor as well but that read good. I made sure to double check that gas was getting to the dryer, which it is. I also made sure to clean out all the lint from the exhaust and the vent. I'm stumped with what else it could be. I did get this from a used appliance store and they say that it was working. It was sitting outside of my place on the porch for about a week while we were waiting to move it inside, maybe something clogged up the gas line? Is there any way to really check that or clean it out?
