My dryer won't start when I press the start button. You can hear what sounds like a relay click, and then it does not start. A few seconds later it will throw a code-F01. If a screw around with the cycle settings and turning it on and off I can usually get it to start in a minute or two,but this needs to be fixed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Here are your parts Parts for Kenmore Dryer 11097727701 - AppliancePartsPros.comThe tech sheet is too large for this site so I have had to use a third party site. Download 9772701.pdfUnclick the Use Our Download Manager as this may put software on your computer that you do not want. Then use the gray Download button. Looks like this is a control board problem. Have you tried unplugging the unit for a couple minutes to see if the error will reset/clear itself? If this does nothing. I would try unplugging the unit and the connectors to the control board. Then reconnect them and give it a try. Just in case it is a communication problem between parts. If this does nothing I would replace the control board. |
