My father-in-law and I are trying to replace the vibration shock absorber on our front load washer. The nylon nut that is holding it on just seems to spin and spin. Any help would be much appreciated. Also if you could point us in the right direction on locating a repair manual for this as well it would be great.

Hi Jason

The nut is a locking nut and the service manual will explain how to deal with it. Here it is.
