I was looking for the door handle for GE Microwave, model # JVM1540DP1WW. I have been unable to find so far. Apparently the handle isn't sold separate from the door. I have been able to remove the hold handle, so I am not sure why it's not sold separately.

They probably do not sell it separately because they do not want you taking the door apart.
If you mess up putting it back together then microwaves could leak out the door.
Definitely not a good thing for your health. |

Definitely not a good thing for your health. I have had 2 GE microwaves before this one. The handles were sold separately for those models. Is there a compatible model to the JVM1540DP1WW whose handle will work? I had a handle laying around from an older model and I was able to put it on, however it's slightly crooked since it's not compatible with JVM1540DP1WW.
