My dad was replacing the timer on the GE hot point dryer and can not remember
which wire goes where. The tech sent us 6 wiring diagrams on the GE but none of them match the timer. I have attached a photo of the timer as well as the wiring on the dryer. He is not sure that what his has connected so far are even correct. Really need help my pop is 86 years old.

Don't know how to attach pictures.

I don't understand the "not getting hot or cooling down". If it doesn't get hot, how can it not cool down??? Anyway, why was the thermostat being replaced? What are the current symptoms in detail? Same as before thermostat was replaced or new symptoms?

Eric
