My bosch dw won't fill, and runs dry. I added about a gallon of water into the bottom of the compartment and closed the door. All of the water was immediatly pumped out. I tried this several times with the same result. I let the machine run dry for about ten minutes and added water again and it was pumped out immediatly. It seems that the dw is not advancing through it's cycle but is stuck in the drain phase. Any tests I could do? Any other possible causes?

Hi, Check to see if your washer is flooded, there are lots of YouTube how tos.

Turn the dishwasher off at the breaker, remove the kick plate and see if there is water sitting in the plastic foundation bowl beneath the dishwasher. If there is, carefully put a rag in there to soak it up, pull it out and squeeze it out in a bowl until the foundation is empty. Reinstall the kick plate and turn the breaker on and your dishwasher should work if this was the problem.
