Hi,
I have Tappan wall oven with electronic ignitor (20-30 years old?). Through current investigation it appears the electronic ignition has failed.

I see on Appliance Repair site that ignitors are listed for model 12-1663-23 and for model 12-1663-45, but not my particular model.

Are they interchangeable? If so, any one know why they list them in 2 different sizes? And how do I determine if I need the shorter wire length or the longer?

FYI - I've determined I need this because the oven has been taken longer and longer to light. The ignitor itself doesn't glow very brightly either.

Thanks for your help.
