My icemaker has not been working and a repairman told me I need a new one but he can't get the unit.I believe the part # is WR30X10061, WR30X10093. It is a replacement for all GE icemakers. Is this something I can install myself or do I need to hire someone? Does if come with installation instructions?

I have a GE Profile Arctic 27 cf, model PSS27NHMDWW. Only about 5 yrs. old and the icemaker quit making ice. We had a Kenmore before that for about 14 yrs. with no problems. The ice freezes in the mold but doesn't eject. The no. on the icemaker is WR30X10014, CAN15, 200D1181G009. The plug has the 4 pins in a straight line and not a round plug like most of the ones that i've seen. Does it not filling with enough water cause it not to eject when they are frozen enough?
