Two days ago, my wife was using our Kenmore Elite Sensor smart electric dryer. After she was done, the dryer's control panel went to "Touch up cycle, heavy duty". The "Clean lint screen" light was on, temp at "high", Manual cycle 30 minutes are lit. In frustration, she pushed a lot of buutons and the problem went away.

It came back today. I can't reach the plug, so turned the dryer off at the breaker and turned it on again in about 5 minutes. That did not seem to clear the problem. When ever I hit another button, the control panel goes back to what was described above "Touch Up/ Heavy Duty. Check lint screen/High Temp/ 30 minutes manual cycle.

It continues to beep intermittently. As I was watching it, it flashed to "Touch up Delicate / 20 minutes" but quickly back to heavy duty/ 30 minutes.

I tried to run the diagnostic test described in other posts...but can't get past this on the control screen. Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.
