The temperature light shows only a small vertical light when you try to select the temperature for the oven. Would this be a bulb replacement possibly needed or something else? What is the difficulty and time involved in getting into this to troubleshoot and fix? (Just to get an idea before I contact a repair person).

Sorry but I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Tried here and the Whirlpool site.

Sounds like the control board needs replacing.
Usually the digital display is part of that board.
THIS FORUM IS DEAD!!!!!!!
