I have an older dryer, and it recently started making a horrible screeching noise. I got the dryer taken apart, oiled where it needed it, replaced the belt, and put it back together- but now it won't turn on.

I don't know if I detached a wire somewhere and can't figure it out or what. Is that the only reason it wouldn't turn on?

Does it attempt to run when you operate the start switch or does nothing happen at all? What is the full model number? There are 6 different versions of this model utilizing 4 different wiring diagrams. Check the door switch.
