I stuck a screwdriver down the lint chute where the basket goes trying to grab some loose lint. I dislodged something and it started making a rubbing(?) sound. Took it apart and it turns out it was a sock that got lodged in the blower fan. The dryer would run, just made a rubbing(?) sound. While apart, I vacuumed the blower, lint basket, exhaust in back, cleaned sensors with alcohol. Went to turn on and it starts pinging right away and won't start. The "check filter" light blinks. the only other thing lit is the warning volume. If I hit power and turn selector knob right away, it will select a wash and the appropriate temp control, dry level, time etc will light, but still won't start. Can turn selector to another wash; temp control, dry level, time etc will change, but won't start. Don't see/feel any loose wire connectors.
Any ideas? thanx.
