Hi, new to the forum here. Have searched and searched and haven't seem to found anything similar to my situation. The front left burner used to work a couple months ago. Now, it does not want to light with the ignitor. It lights with a match, so I know the gas works. I have cleaned it several times and have degreased, so there are no plugged orifices. I have tried a new ignitor. Both the old and new ignitor give strong blue sparks, similar to the functioning burners.

What happens is when I start to turn the knob, all 5 burners are sparking. As I continue to turn the knob, the ignitor on the front left burner stops sparking just before the gas starts. So I have the knob in the ignite position, I can hear and smell the gas coming out, the other 4 ignitors are still sparking, but the burner with the gas on is no longer sparking.

Any thoughts?
