Display lights are out. Oven works otherwise. Oven light lights when door opens. Temps setting works if you count beeps. Timer works if you count beeps. Can light be replaced? Must control panel be replaced? Will replacing control panel fix it?

I am on the road so am trying to use a tablet with so so success.

Look up your parts.
The control panel is the keypad, the display is actually part of the control board
This may be obsolete as it shows out of stock but you will have to contact AppliancePartsPros to confirm this.

A dim/bad display is often due to a bad capacitor in the display's power supply on the board. I do not know which capacitor but replacing them all should be relatively low cost. They are electrolytic capacitors so have to be installed with the correct polarity.
This applies to flourescent displays.

If you use "Advanced Search" ans search for "dim display" in the ovens forum you should be able to get info on the above.

Alternately there are places out there that fix obsolete control boards just Google "appliance timer repair"
