This is a secondhand refrigerator that I purchased. After it was delivered, I waited more than 24 hours before plugging it in. I wanted to give it some time to stand upright after being tilted during delivery. Anyway, I noticed that the freezer compartment is cold, but the fridge compartment is not. I cleaned the coils located on the bottom front of the refrigerator (they were really dusty) but that didn't seem to solve the problem. I don't think the fridge coils have any frost on them since the refrigerator hasn't been plugged in long enough for them to form, so I dont think that's the problem either. Im not sure what to try next    Any help is appreciated! By the way, it is a whirlpool model number er2chmxpl00, serial number is er4928680

After even a hour or so the evaporator/freezer coils should have frost on them.
Any moisture in the air will condense on the coils as soon as it is pulled through them.
You just have to be sure that the unit/compressor has run for an hour. There will be no frost shortly after a defrost cycle.

Is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
Is the compressor running? You can usually hear it but should also be able to feel it vibrating.
Is it on all the time or is it cycling except when in a defrost cycle?

What is the temperature in the freezer? It should be 0 to 5 degrees F.

Is the damper at the top rear of the fresh food compartment open?
