I have a Whirlpool dishwasher, model #: DU1345XTVQ0, SR#: FY2205772. Problem started about two weeks ago. 1. When the unit was loaded, I would normally push Normal, Hi-Temp Wash, the indicator lights would come on above each button, and then push Start; the Washing indicator light would come on and the system would work fine. 2. About two weeks ago I noticed that the indicator light above Hi-Temp Wash did not come on AND when I pushed the Start button, the system would start but the indicator light below Washing did not come on, but the indicator light below Drying would begin flashing slowly. After a short while, I will get various combinations of the Washing, Drying and occasionally the Clean lights to flash or simply come on! 3. Following number 2 above, the system appeared to function and the dishes would be clean at the end of the cycle. 4. I attempted a Diagnostics Cycle, Heated Dry-Normal Heated Dry-Normal, several times and occasionally the unit would start normally and Hi-Temp Wash light would function normally. Other times nothing would change. 5. I also cut the power to the unit in an attempt to rest the control board, but this proved useless. 6. In reading the Forum, the indication was that the control board might be bad so I purchased a new control board, installed it and the problems remain. Before I pull out what little hair I have left, I thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts or comments about where I might turn next. I live WAY out in the country here in Texas so an on-sight repair is both costly and difficult. Many thanks in advance -

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool DU1345XTVQ0 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comIt is probably a control panel problem. I would check the voltage to/at the unit. Low voltage can cause all sorts of weird problems. I have seen problems in the past with the wire nuts that connect the unit to the house wiring. If you order the control panel from AppliancePartsPros they will let you return it if it does not solve your problem. Please see their return policy. Looks like the panel is over $200.00. I do not know what the control board cost you but you are getting close to or at the point that it is not worth fixing. |

You are welcome
And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause. |
