My brother replaced the 3 wire socket in the wall, and then he replaced
the cord that connects to the socket, the cord that is in the back of the dryer and yet it still will not start.

What was the original problem and why your brother replaced these parts?

What is the source of heat on your dryer?

What is the rest of the model number?

Gene.
