It began with hit start hear it start up then cut off with E24 (error 24) displayed. I troubleshoot and find a small item int the pump out sump and clean it it out and think it will be fixed. NOPE-hit start, hear it drain out water, although there is no water, then you hear a pause and it switch to begin washing but no water came through inlet. It pumps imaginary water for about 30 seconds then cuts off to dispay E24.

There are 2 ways to make it wash: 1. Add water manually-about a gallon, after a few tries it will run until completion. 2.. remove kick plate and manually jiggle the float switch several times, after a few attempts will run until completion.

You say - replace the float switch - YEP, it was replaced, did it fix it, NOPE-hit start and if no action taken on my part of step 1 or 2 above, the result is E24.

Any Ideas?

No replies-so I called repair man. He checks it out. Tells me it is the control module (bottom right underneath-not the one in the door) and tells mee it's over 400 dollars. I tell him thanks but I will buy a replAcement. He says they will bill me.

I call bosch to complain how expensive this part is. They tell me that this specefic part has a five year warranty. So now it's s three way arguent between Bosch, a&e repair (sears subcontractor that bosch uses) and me.

Will eventually post how this turns out! Should be fun.

The repair guy puts on the control panel turns it on and leaves. Shows e24. We call but dispatch advised too far away to return.

A few weeks later different guy same company shows up. Finds a popcorn kernel in drain. Removed and fixes it for the cycles until he leaves. Now e24 again. I just open the door to bypass the e24 for now. Still not fixed
