Hello All!

Just got my new dryer motor out of the box to install it, and it will not turn freely. It is an exact match to the old one, so I am a bit confused by this. The reason for replacement is because the old one has a bad bearing (squeaks pretty loudly). The old one turns freely, just not the new one. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance for your help!! I'll be patiently waiting for an answer so my mom can have her dryer back, lol. Thanks again!!:)

As far as I know it should turn pretty freely, so get a replacement.
