The convection fan in the back of the oven has stopped working. The convection heating elements seem to heat fine, all other functions on the range are normal. Is the problem most likely a defective fan?

Here are your parts
Parts for Jenn-Air JDS9865BDP Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

And finally here is a service manual. You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download the manual.

The manual has info on checking the convection motor windings with a meter.

Note this is not a definitive test.
it will tell you if the motor is bad but does not tell you that it is good as it may have mechanical problems.

If the motor gets voltage and does not turn then I would replace it.
