I have a Whirlpool washer - front load - WFW9250WW01 - Washer stop running and kicking the breaker out. Reset breaker, washer proceeded to empty, and then would not restart. I reviewed online help and removed bottom & top panel to look for loose wires / reset / etc. Info online said to manually unlock door and run through diagnostic test. Came up with " LF". Tried other things, but nothing. Called repair service. Tech came out reviewed with " unit would not go into diagnostics correctly - call whirlpool tech line for recommendations " They advised new CCU and wiring harness. Repair man wanted $ 460 to repair, and recommended just buy a new one. I have matching washer -dryer and didn't want to do that so decided to buy the exact parts he listed on the service call bill and install myself. Did that ( wasn't that bad ). Hooked everything back, but washer still doing same thing. " start cycle - door locks, and nothing. I unplugged / manually opened door and followed the diagnostic test procedure, " push 3 buttons in sequence - repeat 2 times and nothing happens. no lights...nothing ? Help !!!

I've had this washer and the matching dryer and had them stacked when we redid our kitchen. From the onset we had problems with this machine and of course after the first year the problems got worse. It's now about 3 years and it completely stopped working. Because they are stacked everything is a bigger and more expensive problem because 2 men are sent out to fix the machine. I was getting a code that even whirlpool didn't know what it meant. I had a serviceman come in and he ordered so many parts that needed to be replaced. Really after 3 years?? anyway that would have been fine if it worked but after changing so many parts it still didn't work. then he ordered another control panel...still no luck. Now I have to order a NEW machine. I really don't want this machine again. When is a machine called a lemon? Also now I am so upset that I have to do the same machine again because of the dryer. any suggestions?
