Hi all -

I'm having trouble with my electric oven and hope you can help. Here's what I'm seeing:

- The heating elements on the stove top work.
- Broiling works.
- The oven won't heat when I chose the bake setting. I did a continuity check on the bake element and it passed. When I try to preheat the oven to bake, the bake element does not heat up at all.
- The wire contacts that connect to the bake element at the back of the oven are not corroded or broken.
- I can't see any other obvious indication of a problem anywhere else at the back of the oven, such as a loose connection, a burnt wire, etc.

Any thoughts on the next steps to take to troubleshoot?

I cannot find your model number.
Please check it.
Are you sure that there is not a number between the BH and the WH.

Does the unit stay in preheat or does it show that it is ready.

If it stays in preheat then the control board is the nost likely culprit.

If it shows ready then it could be the oven sensor or the control board.

Do you have 240v on the 2 terminals to the bake element? Bet the EOC is bad check for voltage out of the EOC.
