often beeps and throws error code f-30 sometime even when not in use? It also seems to shut off as if it over heated....we can wait 10-15 minutes and try it again...usually works ok the second time......

The cooktop always works..just the oven is affected...

We re-leveled the unit and double checked the wiring connections to make sure nothing was loose or insuficient voltage...all seemed ok .

Should I replace the control pc board?

What do you suggest?

Here are your parts

F30 is an oven sensor problem.

I would check it.
It should be around 1,100 ohms at room temperature.
If OK then check where it connects to the control board.
Check for a cracked copper trail on the board.
Check for a cold solder joint at the connector.
Cold solder joints are often a duller silver color and may have pin holes.
Also gently wiggle the connector while watching the solder side to see if the connector legs move in the solder.

If all OK then I would replace the board.
