My 6 year old Bosch SHE46C06UC/22 dishwasher fills with water during the initial rinse cycle at the beginning of a wash cycle but it doesn't fill with water during any of the other portions of the wash cycle. If I manually add water then that portion of the cycle completes as expected. Also, the rinse and hold cycle work properly. I checked the fill valve and float switch for continuity and both appeared to be ok. If either were bad then the dishwasher would never fill, correct? So is there anything other than the mainboard that could be causing this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I think I used the wrong term in calling the part in question a mainboard. I believe the part I have a question about is the control board.
