I have a Frigidaire stack unit with an LEQ1442ES0 dryer that tumbles without heat. I bought it used 5 mos ago. It worked great until one night 7 weeks ago it began beeping without apparent reason. I couldn't get it to stop so I flipped the breaker off. Days later I dried a load of laundry on 60 minutes with high heat. The load was as wet coming out as it went in; there was no heat. I dug around online for info and pulled the codes.
My error codes weren't found anywhere so I called a repair tech for a service call. He tested the circuits (with the dryer stacked atop the washer) and said I needed a $200 control board. I just didn't have that kind of cash so I paid him for his visit and went to the internet for a board. I bought a remanufactured board from Corecentrics. I installed the board but still had the same problem.
I called a different service technician. Two men arrived. They separated the dryer from the washer, tore the dryer down, and tested all the circuits. I was told power was going into the board but not coming out. He suggested I get another board. Corecentrics agreeably sent out another board but the problem persisted. I purchased and installed a certified new board from AppliancePartsPro and still have no heat!

Check to make sure you have 240vac at the dryer receptacle. On back of control board there is a black and red wire connected to a black box relay on the board. With dryer running in normal heat mode, check voltage across those wires. Should be zero volts. Check each terminal to ground, should be 120vac. Turn dryer off and unplug, disconnect black wire from relay. Plug dryer in and run in normal heat, check voltage to ground from red wire and from disconnected black wire. Report findings.
