I have a propane gas, 48" freestanding Thermador Range, mid to late 2004. It has a large oven on the right side, smaller oven on the left, 4 range elements, a grill, and a griddle, and an analog style thermometer on the front panel.

When I turn on the broiler both ignitors spark but only the right broiler elements lights. If I look closely the left ignitor may spark a tiny bit weaker than the right, but it looks plenty strong enough.

Does this sound like an easy repair?

Thanks in advance!

Without the model # it is difficult to know, is the analog control for one or both broilers? if there is a control (seperate) for the left/right, then there is a problem with the safety valve on the inoperative side. Trace the gas supply to the safety valve to figure this out. Many times the "spark" will work on both sides even though only one side is in the operating mode. If both sides work in tandum, it is probably still the safety valve. The valve should have a (resistance threshold) on the label. See if it reads correctly. If it does, they the spark igniter is probably at fault.
Best I can do,
