I have a 76 LDA9800W1 washer that is in fantastic condition other than than the baseplate center post.. it is a foot in length I have heard these were pressed into the baseplate, has anyone ever had the old one pressed out, had a new center post made and pressed back in ??? I would appreciate any replies. thanks
