Occasionally it doesn't heat at all. #9 & #10 juniper on the back panel read around 120v when individually disconnected and checked with a meter on a live test. Replacement element didn't correct the problem. Any thoughts on what is wrong?

If ok, check for power to outer coil, with dryer running and high heat selected, check for 240vac between #16 and L-2 (J-2 black wire). If not there, control board is bad. This board is no longer available from manufacturer but may be available from some parts sites. Search for WE19M1453. Eric
