We just moved in to a new house that has a Kenmore trash compactor. Unfortunately the people that lived here didn't take great care of it and it stopped working today.

I looked on Youtube and learned how to take it apart and clean it (needed a lot of cleaning).

I even turned the white circle routers (or whatever they are called) counter clockwise to try to reset the motor.

When I tested it, however, the rams just spin and don't seem to be screwing into the compactor so it will go down.

I'm not sure what else to do.

Please advise.
