My Amana dryer will not run. It lights up, so there is power, but when you try to turn it on the light indicating that it is drying goes on but it is not running. It is not making any noise. You can hear a click when first trying to turn it on.

If it was the door switch, would that light indicating it is drying go on?

No, it appears door switch is ok. Could be broken belt, faulty belt switch, faulty blower thermostat, faulty control board (motor relay).

Thank you Eric, it is the belt. Now to figure out how to replace this.

Your dryer is actually a Maytag. Here's a link to service manual.
